I love a shot blocker. If I was a GM it would be easy picks for my bottom four defensemen haha

The bad: I saw a study on hoards that tried to show that there is zero correlation to shot blocks and success of some measure.
The other side of that: a block shot will never reach the net so we may never know the true value I guess

Yeah lol, I play goalie so I don't block shots(well I do but ya know what I mean lol). If I played player I'd only attempt to block shots is in playoffs and only in regular season if we're up by one or game is tied in the 3rd period. (no gear used)

Oh I definitely am too if I didn't bring pads. That's the nice thing about an office job - all but my hands and head are covered so welts don't mess up my appearance.

Trades maybe not. But things like car sales where you might wear a polo, that would reflect poorly.

just wear a long sleeve for the week. so simple

edit: mind you i dont block shots from pucks with out gear street ball sure.

Some people take this shit so seriously. Almost got in a fight with a guy who was lifting my stick all game but nearly got me in the eye 4 times while doing it. Then he called me an asshole and got up in my face because I tricked him by tapping my stick on the floor while he was on offense. I'm almost certain he was about to throw a punch if the ref hadn't gotten involved.
