How can you go out and tell your fans that you traded the captain and face of the franchise for a few draft picks? Especially after losing Suter. That'd be the end of the Preds (unless they could trade the picks for some of Philly's players aka. "we won't match if we can get x, y, z in return for your picks". I doubt Philly would do that considering who the Preds would probably ask for in return

heard about this earlier..would love to have weber..flyers main problem is defense right now. Bryz has his ups and down, no he isnt perfect but he can be really good, especially when hes confident and the d is playing good infront of him.

Bryz isnt the full blame for whatever happened this season, sure he let in some soft goals and made some mistakes, who doesnt. The truth is, the defense had a big part of it.

IF Weber ends up in Philly, the Flyers and the Preds will do a no-match trade. The first rounders will go to Nashville and traded right back to Philly in exchange for some (or one) big name(s). I don't think anybody on the roster would be untouchable.




And now, to take some of the seriousness out of it: If we use some of the logic applied earlier one could argue: 4 1st rounders for Giroux. He was a late first round pick and Philly would receive 4 1st round picks in exchange. Good deal
