Conditioning stint I thought

Oh, maybe. I just saw re-assigned to AHL, maybe I just missed the conditioning bit.

AV said "he needs to play" or something to that extent.
I figure he meant he needed to get back his timing or just skate after coming back from injury

Probably timing, or just trying to wake him up and make him realize he doesn't have a set spot on the roster, idk. We really have nobody to fill in his slot though, we don't have much to call up minors wise.

This. He isn't getting development time on the fourth line anyways. Rather have him develop his game with the Wolves than be invisible on the fourth line.

Damn, emotional press conference from Luongo. Thought he was gonna get teary-eyed but he held it together. Still saying all the right things about the Canucks and his position, though. Gotta love the candor while still being a good teammate.

Sucks for Lu, but MG did the right thing if all they were offered were garbage. Trading Lu for a bag if pucks would not help us in the playoffs and I rather have someone to fall back on in the playoffs. Yes, the market may be worst in the off in the offseason, but the "benefit" of keeping Lu outweigh the costs.
