Canucks could be in a 3 way deal, Cap space is no issue but they're not a contending team so why would they waste space on Karlsson?

I mean, in theory if you could trade for him and get him to sign a 7 year extension, the Canucks should be back in the playoffs in the next 2-4 years. I just really doubt they would want to give up the amount of assets required to get him. Plus Karl probably adds enough that it boosts that team from 15th in the West to the dreaded 9-12 range.

Word is Erik Karlsson does not want to sign an extension with a Canadian team. #Sens
