I think Holden - Hamonic is a very good bottom pair. Our season will really depend how good Sanderson plays. I don't expect him to be amazing in his rookie year but hopefully in 1-2 season he develops into a top guy

Yeah if Sanderson could come in and play like a top 4 D from the start it really solve our problem. Not sure it's fair to expect that from a rookie though, but we'll see.

And yeah Holden - Hamonic is a fine 3rd pair it's just that outside of Chabot and Zub, that's all we have 3rd paring defensemen 😅

I could see Dorion signing Rutta if you don't land Weegar.

Yeah next step is a RD to play in top 4. I don't know if Rutta is that guy, seems more like depth.

I'd rather Marino over Weegar, but doesn't look like PIT is going to trade him afterall. I'm sure Dorion has something cooking. I've also heard Ethan Bear's name out there but I don't think he would fit in that role. our D was so weak and we need upgrade
