I think the best way to regulate is just to legislate. Make laws that cause the owner to go to jail. Your pitbull bites some persons face? -> assault with a deadly weapon, your pitbull kills someone -> murder. That will honestly be the best way to snuff out these 'bad' owners that people talk about.

regardless of how well your pet is trained, if humans can make mistakes off emotions im sure a canine could as well.

i remember like 10 years ago hearing my dad tell my mom some guy that bred pitbulls had has daughter killed by them
she went into the pen and they like tore her apart cuz she was like 8 or something

the dogs are savage good owners or not they are a danger to anything smaller then them there no better then a coyote imo

shit my uncle was a good pitbull owner and his dog bit me when i was a kid almost lost a few fingers

i have had many pits/ pit mixes over the years and none of them have had any issues, sweet dogs.

i have a boxer/pit mix right now and she loves to bring the boys toys and cuddle with them.

Yes. Shit owners are shit. There must be stricter laws regarding what happened to a careless owner.
I have a pure bred boxer myself. He's considered a part of the "bully" breed. And he's the most gentle dog I've ever owned. I also have month old baby at home.
It's the fact alotta these "thugs" think it's cool to own one. And gives them (Pitts) a bad name.
