I am tired of being the underdog, if we want to be a favourite to win in the playoffs it will be done with a rebuild. I hate losing our best players and it is fucking bullshit. but tbh we do have a lot of really good pieces right now at every position and they added to it
Karlsson, Stone & Duchene is a good core to build around imo. But yeah it doesn't matter since no one wanted to be there with that shit show anyway.
I know it's been said but a bunch of time the last few months but hopefully we'll be able to sign those players when it's time. If Melnyk could sell I would be much more confident in the rebuild.
Even the fucking Panthers just employed coach Q at 6M, while we'll probably find someone who's never been in the league before and will cost like 200k.
