Flames are a complete team, they did very well at the deadline too. Markstrom has potential to steal games all by himself, they have solid defense, they went out and got toffoli/jankrok to help with scoring depth and not rely completely on their 1st line. They're both familiar with teammate/coach etc. So it was a solid fit.
Avs are insane, but they still have their weaknesses, Girard has been struggling and is injured. Not sure about both Johnson's playing as ur top 4 and 3rd pair d. Byram is also concussed.
Honestly doesn't even matter tho, both teams are good, anything can happen in playoffs
Neither Johnson should be in the top-4 now that they have Manson.
Girard did struggle last year in the playoffs though, so that 2LD spot is a major question mark given his play and Byram's concussions.
With Byram out, their bottom-4 D could be a weak spot. And goaltending of course is still in question until they prove otherwise.
As good as the Avs are, I think the Panthers and Bolts are looking like the more complete teams. But Panthers have to prove it just as much as the Avs.
Calgary would be considered more complete, too, but they are also unproven and their best player does not have a good playoff history.
