Wonder who the last team was to give up 10+ goals multiple times in a season.

Detroit going for it.

i wonder what the reasoning is cause imo panthers were a better team and they improved at the deadline
not sure how anybody cant have them as the favs and im routing for the canadian teams
and the avs 3% less to win the cup then flames? like that doesnt even make sense

Josi's season is on pace to get close to Ds from the 1990s

Flames are a complete team, they did very well at the deadline too. Markstrom has potential to steal games all by himself, they have solid defense, they went out and got toffoli/jankrok to help with scoring depth and not rely completely on their 1st line. They're both familiar with teammate/coach etc. So it was a solid fit.

Avs are insane, but they still have their weaknesses, Girard has been struggling and is injured. Not sure about both Johnson's playing as ur top 4 and 3rd pair d. Byram is also concussed.
Honestly doesn't even matter tho, both teams are good, anything can happen in playoffs

At this point he should be in the Hart conversation.

Neither Johnson should be in the top-4 now that they have Manson.

Girard did struggle last year in the playoffs though, so that 2LD spot is a major question mark given his play and Byram's concussions.

With Byram out, their bottom-4 D could be a weak spot. And goaltending of course is still in question until they prove otherwise.

As good as the Avs are, I think the Panthers and Bolts are looking like the more complete teams. But Panthers have to prove it just as much as the Avs.

Calgary would be considered more complete, too, but they are also unproven and their best player does not have a good playoff history.

if he won hart, I would agree, a Defenseman shouldn't be 14 points ahead of the top forward

Mcdermid plays with Erik Johnson on the 3rd most of the time, so jack Johnson ends up playing with Manson in the top 4 when he doesn't play with Erik. Basically, avs are very top heavy, like insane top 6 and 1st pairing d, but then bottom 6 and 2nd/3rd aren't as strong as other contending teams imo

Didn't realize Kyle Connor is having a hell of year. He's got 41g and 41a for 82 pts in 67 GP, thats 20 more pts than 2nd place on their team @ Scheifele @ 26g 36a for 62pts in 61 GP.
