Have you heard any other names or just Kadri?

Do you feel he'd be a decent fit with us? I'm not super educated on Eastern teams, I just know he did a spin-o-rama in a shootout against us and won.

Nah nothing yet although the leafs have 2 guys there tonight and schmaltz was called up for tonight's game. They'd also need the leafs to take a cap dump back so possibly berglund or ott. I imagine they'll be a draft pick in there aswell. As for how well he'd fit. He'd be a good fit with a guy like tarasenko or Schwartz.

Schmaltz has been a legit defenseman over the last couple years, I've actually noticed a difference in his play over the years of training camp.

I'd hate to see Backes go, but if you look at the trend of things, that's kinda how our team's been going the past couple of years.
