jumbo isnt going to be making 8m, the only reason they gave him that is because it was a 1 year deal and we had $ to blow. id be surprised if he ends up with more than 4m especially coming off of a second knee surgery.
his #'s with the sharks were much better than with the sabers and the sharks are a much better team and hes going to be playing with more talent, so thinking his numbers are going to go up, makes sense to me...
.82 points per game with the sharks v .65 with the sabers. even if you wana find the average of that and call it .73 that puts him on pase for 60 points wich is right about there for the $
