I am just making the point that Seidenberg is hustling even more than he would be but your right its irrelevant really.

The point is the hits not that dirty. If it wasn't on Saint Toews nobody would give two shits.

A puck battle is shoulder-to-shoulder. This was a shove from behind at a dangerous distance from the boards.

He also didn't turn his back at the last second with puck possession... he turned around to skate towards and retrieve the puck.

If you honestly think the only reason they thought it should be looked at is cuz of toews, that's laughable. It's a similar situation as things that have been suspendable before - the difference is Seidenberg clearly wasn't headhunting or specifically trying to lay Toews out. That's not entirely obvious with a 4 second gif or a video with 2 camera angles.
