i got the 2 free cards from the quest so far and they practicly give you them but beyond that im horrible cuz my cards are shit i hate seeing guys pull out 10 str cards n revive them n buff them its like wtf i dont have that
ive bought cards pretty much everytime ive seen a vendor had any half decent too so idk wtf

You gotta make sure when you're buying cards and building a deck, make sure they belong to the same faction. If you buy Nillfgardian, they only work under that faction of deck usually. And there's a fine line in your strategy. A lot of times if I have a spy card or two I throw the first round to build cards.

Sometimes I try and bait them into using good cards. For example, I usually spend my first turn putting out a weak ish card, and let him stack like crazy then I just forfeit the round because he wasted some good cards. Takes a bit to build a deck and get the hang of it. It's worth getting good at, super easy way to do a few quests for free exp

Double check your leader card for northern kingdoms. I got one (don't even know how tbh) that doubles my siege weapons. Lots of 6-8 siege weapon cards, and I have that 1star siege that ups all the other siege ratings by one. Drop two or three of those, few sieges then leader card. Almost guarantee a win. You just gotta kinda circle jerk out a low win. Try just playing regular merchants before you play the tough guys.

Winning games against regular merchants, buying cards, etc. I keep 1 of each weather including clear weather cards in my pile. There's those low level cards that don't have any special effect, I toss them.

You wanna make sure your deck has as low amount of cards (your best cards available though) as possible. Don't keep shit ones in if you don't have to. Better chance to draw em. If you have any cards with the handshake thing on it, keep those in your deck if you have more than one of that specific card. They can be deadly.

like yesterday i was going into 3rd round with a 4 a 5 and a horn guy had 4 cards was like i can potentially win this
got my card out he uses clear weather card so im like f yeah put out my other card he puts out a ranged so i leader card it
so i drop my horn on my guys and im out of cards he uses 2 scorches and wins 1-0
