Solid win last night, 4 in a row now. We were over 10 points behind 1st in the West, now were only a couple back. Strong finish leads to a strong playoff start

It helps that Nashville has been blowing it as of late.
Kinda hoping they keep that trend and the Hawks and Preds finish 2 and 3.
Would rather see the Preds than the Wild or Blues in the first round.

As per Bob McKenzie, he strongly believes Sharp is gone after the season.
Wonder how much his value dropped from this season compared to last.. Wonder what we'll get for him

I have always hated Sharp. Just get rid of him for a bag of pucks and some new water bottles.

Bowman came out a few weeks ago saying he never wants to trade Sharp.
But just because he doesn't want to trade him, doesn't mean he won't be dealt.
It is all going to come down to cap room and the hawks will need to make room this off season.

Sharp with 2 years left on his contract coming in at 5.9mil per year. Modified NTC. If he is going to be traded he will have 24 hours to submit a list of 10 teams he'd be willing to go to.
Bickell also has 2 years left at 4mil per.

Both could go without me caring much.

Oduya and Rozsival will be UFA next season. I don't see us re-signing either.

Saad/Nordstrom/Kruger/Runblad/Darling all RFA next season.

Saad better not go anywhere. He wants to wait til the offseason to talk money. I'm guessing he will get around 3+ mil per year.
And I'd like Kruger to stay around as well, but Saad should be a priority.

Was never a Sharp fan myself. Don't think Kane needs him on his line to produce, so he's expendable. You'll get a good young asset in return, too.

Highly unlikely that Saad gets under 4M, even on a bridge deal.

Yeah 4 mil sounds more likely.

I think Shaw got 2 mil a year. And Saad puts up 3-4 times the numbers.
