I think you guys are delusional for thinking toews is in anyway better than getzlaf

Defensively and leadership I would consider Toews to be better.
Getzlaf is a bigger guy and plays his size well.
Both are extremely talented offensively. Toews has better hands, Getzlaf seems to be able to produce more (better passer).

I would say Getzlaf is a more offensive threat that Toews as well.

That being said, I would also take Toews over Getzlaf if I was building a team.

I'd argue that toews is better defensively but not too much, in fact if Getz increased his face offs he could challenge for the selke. Hands is even debatable as well and as we know getzlaf is a far better offensive threat
