Winnipeg is accurate but they still need to make a bunch of moves on forward

I was going to say Florida seems low and that they should be a top-5 team but according to those standings, they are lol (tied anyway)

Thinking the same thing with Seattle.

It is a team of rejects essentially. That will light a fire. They are probably an 85 point team on paper but will outwork everyone else most nights so I think finishing with +90 points in a weak division is not a stretch.

Seattle has better defense than Vancouver and Edmonton already lol. So they might actually have a chance at the playoffs in this weak division.

One thing I have noticed is the power shift between the West and East.

Years ago it was always seen that the West was an overall better conference.

Now the East has been winning the majority of the cups.


These projections show how many weak teams their are in the west right now.


If the Capitals and Islanders competed in the Pacific they could easily bump the projected Oilers, Flames, Canucks and Kraken out of those playoff spots.

I think Seattle is gonna be tough to play against, and probably frustrate teams when its hard to score against them as well.

Imagine you know that your team's offense is good, but then Seattle's defense just keeps shutting your team down. You will start tilting, choke like the leafs in playoffs, get frustrated etc. It will affect your game. It will be even worse if Seattle has the lead, the teams with more firepower is gonna feel pressured, feel rushed to tie it up, make more mistakes etc.
