Have you ever tried FAB? I know it's very popular in Fantasy Football but I have never personally tried it. Would you suggest continuous waivers with the player going to the last place team in the case of two people claiming the same player?
If you include only +-, you unbalance players who are heavy power play guys, but have big minus. PPP is the way to counter that. Ofc there are a few guys who have high stats in both, but those players are usually gone in the first rounds of the draft.
When including PPP you put emphasis on scoring with one more cat so there's that.
Also, you need to have like 4-5 IR+ spots cuz of covid.
