Not sure how Mogilny is not in, as others have said.

Kariya is in the hall of fame with similar statistics.

However he does not have the international accolades and backstory that Mogilny does.

- Youngest player to win a gold medal with Russia in 1988
- Top forward during the 1988 world juniors
- 1989 world champion.
- 1989 world junior captain that featured the Bure-Fedorov-Mogilny line.

One of the first defectors to come to North America to play as well. A trailblazer with international accolades and stronger statistics than other players in the hall of fame.

It is is a snub for sure.


He will get in eventually but it is getting quite ridiculous.

Vernon and Osgood I can appreciate.

They have a track record of coming up big in the playoffs.

Joseph did not play as consistently and despite playing on strong teams during his career he is not a cup champion.

I understand he had some good playoff runs but he never got there. I don't think he has even been to the Stanley Cup Finals before.
