#stlblues telecast says Jay Bouwmeester was alert and responsive as he was being taken to the hospital. @Panger40 reported that a defibrillator was “close by” and #stlblues and #nhlducks trainers and doctors were on the case immediately.

phew, hope he has a speedy recovery. Hate seeing this happen, been a few of them now

So eerily similar to Jiri Fischer and Rich Peverly. Scary for sure.

Man i remember watching that game with Fischer, i remember Stevie Y and i forget who, skating up to the stretcher and basically ripping it out of the dudes hands cuz he wasnt going fast enough.
