10-4. Seems early for parros to be talking about attending the game.
Figured it was tonight or tomorrow or Sunday..

Saw this coming a mile away. Kassian’s comments to the media were so goddamn stupid. Threatening revenge and dirty hits on the record? That’s some Bertuzzi shit, nhl of course has to step in now.

You are an idiot. Kassian never threatened revenge or dirty hits. Stop being delusional.

“I can do what Matthew Tkachuk did," he said. "If the league is saying it’s clean I can do exactly that."

Kassian went even further with his comments, stating that the next Battle of Alberta is sure to be a feisty one.

"He messed with the wrong guy," said Kassian. "I don't think he realizes we're in the same division, and I have a great memory."

He’s talking about throwing the same hits you deem clean back at tkachuk.

“A feisty one” gets SP feeling scared. Lmao

Parros is an idiot.

He literally told everyone in the entire league that it's okay to make predatory hits as long as it's legal. Players refrain from making near blindside hits even if they're legal because it's just dangerous and not good for hockey, and it's been phasing out from it. However now, Parros is saying it's okay to do so. It's a huge advantage for tough players like Kassian, to get star players off their game because they will always have to fear those borderline calls. Might as well tell Torres to come back from retirement

It shouldn't be up to the hitter to protect the puck carrier as long as the hit isn't dirty. Keep your head up. Too many clueless players skating in historically dangerous areas either staring down at the puck or admiring their passes.

Or just outlaw body checks. Anyone who argues that body checks are supposed to be for separating the player from the puck doesn't watch hockey because 95% of hits are done to do damage. Body position + stick-checking is the more logical method of taking the puck away.
