It's just too bad he's had 1.5 lockouts to hinder the ability to do so. Same with players like chelios, Lidstrom, Chara etc on games played

I think he can "EASILY" beat gretz record, if he WANTS to play til he breaks the record. He can pull a jagr and play til he's 45+. He will eventually break it.
Problem is, Ovechkin isn't like Jagr, he's got a kid/wifu so he probably wants to spend time with em instead of focusing on hockey and banging hot chicks on the side
