Well having three starters usually guarantees you the cat against other with less.

Hm I play in a league that allows 2 goalie starts per day, so even with 3 starters 1 would have to be benched. I'm wondering if 2 starters playing like 6 games for the week usually loses VS 2 starters playing 7 or 8 games? Does the extra game or 2 advantage pretty much give the win?

Yes in most cases. Especially when you have categories like Wins/ SV/ SO and i even seen "Starts" as cat i believe.

Depending on the categories goaltending can be quite dominant because you have very good chance of winning all the tender categories and if you draft skaters accordingly to only dominate 3 or 4 cats like goals/ ppg/ sog/ +-... youre wining 3/4 of total cats.

Drafting dominant goalies and dmen for hits/blks/ assists is also another way to win 3/4 of cats.



Thats why atl cats like PIM and FOW sort of offset dominant skaters... adds more worth to dmen and well rounded picks.
