NHL game center is really bad to watch your local team or nearby teams in my case. So many blackouts (every habs game for me, most Ottawa games and some Toronto games).

Just use reddit nhl streams and you can get a1 quality HD streams every night. Easy to use on computer/tablet/mobile/xbox etc

Not sure how long it will last thought since NBA streams has been taken down for legal purposes and I think mmastreams also.

not sure about nba but mma just switched over to discord when they got banned. still can get all the links from there

but yea rarely missed a game since i downloaded nhlgames from the nhlstreams reddit and quality is top

The free route, despite having some annoyances is going to be what I will do.

Honestly I feel like reddit streams are more reliable than my Shaw service sometimes lol.

It's HD quality, no lagging/buffering, get AdBlock to get rid of the ads, and streams nowadays let you rewind to any point in the game (if you miss something or want to watch a replay or whatever).

Wouldn't mind paying for an NHL package if they weren't such a rip off.

what kinda stuff do you use, you download it and put it on plex or?

edit: to those of you suggesting reddit streams, it seems like NHLStreams got shut down or other popular streaming subreddits are being targeted for shutdown soon, unless there's something i don't know

Hit up a friend or parent that has the channels you need (SN). Get their login info and you can watch them through the sn app on your smart tv or Apple TV etc.

reddits usually has pretty decent streams while back i found a flyers streamer who streams on youtube so i just add the vid to watch later then open it up on my console+tv or even mobile

without him id be pretty screwed tbh lol its so expensive for the streaming services and they offer minimal plans and got all these restrictions and shit like i just wanna watch hockey not have to deal with possible blackouts and bs like that

Seems this is the norm as lots of people are fed up with poor service, restrictions and high prices.

Thanks everyone for the input.

I will be going the streaming route.

Honestly it is quite pathetic. I was willing to pay for a service but for the above reasons I can not justify it. Bunch of crooks.

Think this is what I will do.

Going to get a beater latop to get the stream sites and good adblock programs running, hook it to an hdmi cable and I should be off.
