why do people post trades without relevant stat categories

Forwards/Defensemen Stat Categories: Goals (G), Assists (A), Plus/Minus (+/-), Penalty Minutes (PIM), Powerplay Goals (PPG), Powerplay Assists (PPA), Shorthanded Goals (SHG), Game-Winning Goals (GWG), Shots on Goal (SOG), Faceoffs Won (FW), Hits (HIT), Blocks (BLK)
Goaltenders Stat Categories: Wins (W), Goals Against Average (GAA), Save Percentage (SV%)

Please tell me how your leagues so much different.

It's cuz categories will weigh players differently in each league...

For example, ovechkin is godlike cuz he gets Ya ton of multicatagory as 1 player, whereas he won't be godlike for strictly pts league since all other categories he provides will be ignored.

Most leagues ives been in take out GWG, shg and PIM .. combine PPG and PPA into just PPP. It makes a huge difference...

I don't get how u think we are being assholes when u're the one asking for our opinion about the trade.. When all u wrote was who gets more pts and vaguely add being more useful to ur fantasy league without other details.

Also ur league setting is not as common as u think, my leagues don't use gwg since it's luck dependant and +/-. Also grouped with ppp instead of separating pg/PA. You can also check other leagues on first page and see if ur league is 95% common cos it's not...its more like the other way imo as ur league has a lot more forward categories than usual.

if they dont post stat categories i just assume they are like defaults or similar and its nothing too crazy

every league has different stats, some do negative PIMS, some don't have PIMS at all, some have faceoffs, someone also have faceoffs lost, some don't have +/-, SHP, GWG, etc.

with what you mentioned giroux/mackinnon is probably the safer pick, and giroux i believe has dual eligibility in most leagues which is nice

but giving up marchand you lose PIMS, SHG opportunities which could win you weeks on their own

honestly it's a tough call pretty fair deal either way, if you have good centre depth i'd probably take marchand/pasta but going top heavy on bruins could fuck you to when they have 2 game weeks so you'd have to plan ahead

this trade is a lot closer than people think
