Islanders.

He is visiting other teams and will bring back the highest offer to NYI. They will match it plus add the extra year the current team is able to add so he can make the most money possible.

Don't think he has intent to leave unless someone offers a deal that NYI refuses to match, which is extremely unlikely.

Apparently winning is #1 concern for Tavares, with that said I think we can all agree it won't be the Leafs or Sharks
