caps and ovy have history you know the team and players the VGK its like a team of players you hardly know from 30 teams in the league with a few exceptions
its hard to like a team that has no real background or history or players you even know that well compared to the caps with ovy backstrom holtby ect ect


i wouldnt say people hate the VGK but maybe just like the caps better

LVK traded away to get extra draft picks etc.. They tried to lose. And just ended up winning.
