He's definitely top 5, I got to give him that, as much as I dislike him.

rinne is too inconsistent. one good year does not propel him to best goalie in the world. nevermind one year, one half of a year.

true. i meant more consistency in his success. hes been in the league 10 years and has only made the playoffs 3 years.

you cant be number one goalie in the world and have only made the playoffs 3 years out of 10

His help from the offensive production has blown, and defensively outside of their top pair it hasn't been great.

his first 2 years he only played 3 games so im not sure you can blame that on him. last year he was out for most of the year with his hip injury i believe. 2008-2009 was his first full year

he was also the backup for the 08-09 season for a while. dan ellis was the preds #1 and went 11-19 while rinne went 29-15
