Re-he-he-heally. Rafalski being pulled surprises me a bit.
Rafalski's not out, Janik is temporary:

Detroit veteran defenseman Brian Rafalski will have arthroscopic surgery on his knee Tuesday. Red Wings coach Mike Babcock called it a minor procedure and predicted Rafalski will not be out of the lineup for long.
"He had a little pain and it hadn’t reacted the way it had in the past,'' Babcock told the website. "He had the back surgery this summer and the quads probably aren’t as strong, so his knee, which he hurt when he was 18, suddenly there’s more wear and tear.
"They decided they needed to have a quick look and clean it up. Don’t think it’s very long, but don’t know until you get in there."
To replace Rafalski alongside defensive partner Niklas Kronwall, the Red Wings recalled Doug Janik from Grand Rapids of the AHL.

Just getting a knee scope no biggie.
Janik is a real solid player, he would be the shut-down defenseman on Anaheim.
>< didn't see that..
