My nephew is 12 and he just got into hockey in the last year and he loves it. Buying him skates and getting them baked for the first time and he's so pumped. He's already much better than his uncle he was practicing the "Michigan" and has a good release so when I took him with me to rat hockey with "grown ass men" and obviously good group of beer league guys let him skate the puck in and snipe and they are like "Wow he's better then his uncle in 1 rat session lmao". He got trucked over accidentally by a dude who was 6'2 240lb and he just brushed it off like it was nothing. Anyone else over the age of 30 ain't exactly "jumping back up" after getting trucked
