Rules
Users of the hockey forum can place bids on the teams.
Winning an auction means you have that team for the pool.
Any non-welcher, non-blacklist can participate, as long as they follow the rules. Welchers will be allowed at the hockey forums discretion.
Don't edit your bids
You cannot win more than 3 teams. if you win a 3rd team you will no longer be allowed to bid on future auctions
All bids must be posted in-thread. You cannot retract a bid.
You cannot bid an amount of fg greater than the amount you currently possess, nor can you place bets elsewhere with fg you are bidding. This is overbidding. All overbids will be ignored, and you will be banned from participating in all future auctions.
You MAY pool fg with another person/group of people, but whoever makes the bid must be holding the fg.
Winner of auction must send their fg to KoJ within 24 hours


Payouts
The Payouts for this year will be as follows:
The Stanley Cup Winner will receive 55% of the pot
The Stanley Cup Runner up will receive 25% of the pot
Each "bubble" team from both conferences will receive 5% of the pot, each (The teams that just missed the playoffs, "9th seed") *Last year would've been Montreal & Arizona*
The last place team will win 10% of the pot

Minimum Bids
All bids start at least at 50fg
Minimum bids increase is at least 50 fg greater than the previous bid.

Selling a team
You will be allowed to sell teams but not until all 31 teams have been auctioned off. 15% of the total sale will go towards the final pot. If you sell a team the person who bought it will send the fg to KoJ then he will send the fg to the original owner.

Duration
All auctions will end at 9pm EST on the day listed above. Auction threads will be posted roughly 24 hours in advance of their end time. If a post is time-stamped at/after 9:01pm EST, then it is too late.
In addition, if a bid is placed in the final 30 minutes of the auction, the auction will be extended 30 minutes until there is no bid for a solid 30 minutes. This helps prevent auction sniping.
I will be posting 1-2 teams a day, no set order. May set an order in the near future though

I was planning to bid on some teams personally.

I didn't bid on FLA or BUF because I felt they wouldn't be best or worst. And the middle lays nothing 😝
