Hey everyone... I come to this subreddit every year for help with playoff pool picks... Since I don't really watch much hockey, but always join a charity playoff pool.

If I choose your roster, I'll flip you 100fg.

· Goal: 2 points

· Assist: 1 point

· Overtime Goal: 3 points

· Goalie Shutout: 3 points

Think I have suggested this in previous years but I will say it again.

Go for an all or nothing approach.

You are either going to win big or lose big, but finishing in between does not matter so may as well go for it.

Pick one team from the East, and one from the west.

You will end up with 2 starting goalies and the top 6 forwards/top 2 d parings from both teams.

Everyone will argue as to who they think will be in the finals. I have not looked at the matchups in detail yet, but if I do I will offer some more opinions later. Just basically go for broke and pick players from 2 teams only.

Look at the roster of both teams and pick an even spread from both of the highest scorers.
