Jets had a delayed penalty so the Leafs pulled their goalie to get an extra attacker.. The play was blown dead becahse Kadri jumped too early and McBackup was not even close to the bench.

Yet the Leafs didn't get a penalty.. Isn't that too many men ?

It’s always just whistled down if a player replacing the goalie jumps early. Never seen it called a penalty.

There's really no advantage unless the goalie is still in the net or tries to make his way back.

in that case it should be a penalty.

He was about 20 feets from the bench and Kadri was arleady in the Jets zone. Refs blew the whistle but apparently it doesn't warrant a penalty. Doesn't make much sense.
