Made this quickly last night. Due to all of the drama going on in the other forums, and them trying to adjust to our system, I thought it would be a good idea to post up the rules of betting and see if they will use this as well.

Let me know what you think of them, and if anything should be changed/added/removed/whatever

That is being changed. 72 hours is an absurd amount of time to wait for a bet.

Lurking in football I saw this rule in their "final edition" - even though I know hockey hasn't had problems with it recently I think it would be good to put in general rules so people don't get too inflated with their active/trusted/med status right when they get it:



It would also help dissuade some of those people who argue that the list is a "club" IMO by showing that we hold trusted/meds to the same standards.

Otherwise I think this is put very succinctly and the wording is clear

Just gonna say that. Also, I thought it was 48 hours?

what about 48?
24 seems a bit short what if somebodys gotta work then comes home n goes right to sleep?
just suggesting.. althought i do agree 72 was pretty absurd

why don't you just send to mediator if you can't be on?

Again, that's just too long. If you are online and making someone wait 2-3 days, you're just acting like a dick. I know sometimes that person may deserve it, but it's still their fg you're holding onto.


Edit: If you are not online during that period it is fine. But you are required to pay the next time you log in. Otherwise, use a med.

how would u know ur not going to be on? sometimesi come home from work i got so much energy i can stay up til 5 am
some days i pass out dont even take my computer off standby n go right to bed wake up in the morning
besides i win most of my bets but im just saying.. some pp larent as as active and dont have free days all the time to get on jsp
e: 48 hours is to long? how many ppl will hodl it for that long? 48 hours is more a precautionary stage incase they cant pay right away 24 hours knid of eliminates the whoel point no?
