That kind of shit does not belong to hockey. Playoffs or not, bouchard out rest of series would have been only, very only correct sanction for that. That is even worse than what Nurse did.
BUT! Today Stars does not need to think about possible sanctions, if they lose they are out, why should they care if they take mcdavid to summer holiday with them? If i were coach id say that. Do it. Snap to wrist, hard enough to make mcdavid watch with popcorns how Panthers eat them alive in finals. AND. AND, even if stars gets 5min penalty for slashing or something - oilers powerplay may not work without mcdavid+hyman so it would give Stars slight chance to turn this series. Would it be fair? I have to say yes, after what bouchard did, yes, its time to pay. If not mcdavid, then draisaitl. Or Bouchard. Or both. Does that shit belongs to hockey? NO.
i'm VERY surprised if not single stars player get slashing penalty today against mcdavid and/or other two oilers stars.
