Trading LeBron is career suicide, he is untouchable unless he tells them to trade him.
Not sure what you could really get for AD anymore, his shot has declined and can’t stay healthy.
Polinka shouldn’t through him out on the market. But if lebron demands a trade, I mean he has earned the right after how he has handled his career.
I was never a big fan of the AD lebron pairing to begin with. To much money wrapped up in average to slightly better than average 3 point shooting in todays nba. He really needed to get with a youngish guard that could shoot. Get more shooters. Then get a big man like Stephen Adams for lob threat, defensive presence and relatively cheap. Not saying stein adams specificappt. But that type of center is what comes to mind.
I think lebron knew that there was went much he could do to persuade boomers that were going to ride the MJ being the best player ever falacy. So he opted to just be in LA where he could build his overall brand. While simaltaneously kinda going after rings.
But one of lebron steaks spots is talent evaluation. Similar to most of the greats like Larry bird or MJ.
Nba is for sure more intriguing when the GOAT is in the thick of the finals conversation.
But I’m not sure you are going to get enough for Westbrook + picks to make it any sort of game changer for this year. Which is why I think some sort of combination of AD Westbrook and picks is what is needed.
But I’m also not sure you are going to get equal value for AD. People will only really want to be buying low on AD
