AD never healthy and the Lakers have exactly nobody valuable outside their duo.

See no reason the lakers would do that unless they’re planning on tanking which seems counter to their current plans

I mean what if LeBron wants it? There could be an agreement that he gets sent to his destination without pulling too many assets from his landing spot in exchange for Klutch aid + future involvement with the Lakers.

I mean LeBron is still a top 10 maybe top 5 player in the league. He leaves and the Lakers instantly become a lottery team with the trade you just mentioned. And those picks likely won’t be very valuable since they’ll be late firsts at best. Would be a terrible move for the franchise

He can request a trade all he wants but that doesn’t mean the Lakers have to give him up for peanuts

How many teams so far have gotten value back when LeBron wanted out? Cleveland first time? Miami? Cleveland second time?

That's true so in this case he would have to negotiate with Pelinka. I'm simply saying that LeBron is known to want his new destination to have fully stocked shelves upon his arrival
