With Sexton out for the year, the Cavs are still playing really well... but, do they need a big-time scorer? Bonus if they can offload Love's contract and not give up too much in future value.

Just seems like the GM Koby Altman has had some really solid signings/trades/drafts... he's got to have something in the works I would imagine.

I was already thinking they would try to move Sexton anyway, and it might be much harder now that he's hurt, but he's still got some value.

A win-now trade would hurt them, unless they just care about making a playoff appearance to get some revenue

If their goal is to contend then they should try to flip for prospects

Only players I'd be willing to trade are sexton, okoro, markannen, love, of Osman. The last 2 don't have any value and I'm not sure what we'd get for markannen or if we should trade him. I think they should just let it ride this season and check it out next year unless they can swing sexton for a nice veteran piece or d specialist.
