Also, having one player hold out because he's mentally fragile and can't handle the pressure of one of the best sports cities where only the tough players can survive is a bit different than the toxic work culture that was the Dallas Mavs. Everyone supports the Sixers in what they're doing, and nobody is blaming them. They've given Simmons everything to succeed, hence why everyone hates Simmons for what he's doing and supports the Sixers for holding strong and not giving in to his demands. Have you read about the things that have gone on for the Mavs internally? Just crazy shit from sexual misconduct to statements being made to players and staff lashing out....wild.

In fairness, you act like you're the GM of the Sixers with how you talk up Simmons, as if you, personally, are looking to trade him. You're very defensive about his trade value and take it personally for some reason.
