The Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat will each lose their next available second-round NBA draft pick for tampering violations related to the signings of Lonzo Ball and Kyle Lowry in the offseason, the league announced Wednesday.

Haven't read into it too deep yet, but i'm pretty sure it's as simple as they discussed a contract before they were allowed to have that discussion.

Ah okay, I thought they might of done something super shady that they are trying to keep iunder the rug, will go look into this though

Teams have to be smarter than that, you would think they'd wait and at least make it seem like they had a negotiation at the proper time...

I wonder what the ratio is of 1st to 2nd round MVPs…
Regardless, in this era of basketball I do feel like 2nd round picks are getting more hits than ever before. Maybe I’m biased though, would be interested to see some numbers

ratio would be something like 50:1
