Nike is truly pathetic....
Give Kobe his lifetime deal like MJ and Lebron so we can all enjoy his sneakers for generations...Like wtf are they thinking?
I hope Vanessa starts Kobe's own shoe company....because the entire NBA will support it.

Clever, I might do the same here in Australia. Will be a very VERY niche market for Kobe style merch though.

For the players who like wearing Kobe's i'm sure Nike will release similar pair(s) that have the same feel during performance without the name.

Nike owns the patent so I can understand why they don't want to continue paying the family.
