What type of deals could the Warriors pursue?

We'll assume that the Warriors want to keep the trio core in tact so Curry / Klay / Draymond are locked in

Wiseman + Wiggins + #7 +#14 + future picks should all be on the table for the rest of Curry's prime

I have a few targets in mind....

Warriors trade Wiggins + Wiseman + 14 and future pick to Indiana for TJ Warren, Myles Turner, and Jeremy Lamb

Curry / Poole
Klay / JTA
Warren / Lamb
Green / Paschal
Turner / Looney

Wiggins contract is terrible and Wiseman doesn't have great value right now

another idea

Wiggins, Wiseman and #7 for Spicy P

Curry / Poole
Klay / JTA
Spicy / ?
Green / Paschal
Looney / ?

I’m not a huge siakim fan.

But I agree with Wiggins + wiseman + their picks, they have a lot of options. Using Wiggins as a salary match for a team to get a pick + wiseman for a good player that is likely to leave.

I also don’t think the raptors would do that deal. They are internally way to high on siakim. I thought they were stupid to keep Lowry. It was clear the team isn’t in win now mode, and getting rid of Lowry would have gotten them a better place in the lottery. The time line of Lowry doesn’t fit with the rest of the “core” the raptors have. The raptors in my opinion, are setting themselves up for a long run at mediocrity. The path toward high end succes/ (let’s call that getting to the eastern conference finals or better) Just isn’t clear. The core of siakim + van fleet I don’t see as a ECF core. Other than Lowry and the pick this year, they don’t really have any other assets. And Lowry is worth less now than he was at the previous trade deadline.

They have to be.

Everyone and everything that isnt the big 3 has to be on the table.

That said, I'd rather all three retire as Warriors lifers and not win again than sell our soul for the chance at another ring. We're not the soulless lakers. I'd probably include Looney in that group. Hes earned it.

Lowry is an FA so no idea what you are going on about

and ya TANKING for a lottery pick is a good indicator that the team is not in win now mode. Good analysis.

The point is the acted like the time was in win now mode by keeping Lowry. Which is contrary to what they were actually doing. Keeping Lowry and NOT trading him was the complete opposite of what they should do, regardless if they got lower compensation than they thought they should

No win now would be getting rid of lowry for whatever they could to make a second half season push

Toronto needs to be loyal and Lowry is the player to be loyal to. We just won a chip and werent beating the nets this year regardless so the course of action keeping lowry is best for the fans and fhe franchise

"According to a league source, the Warriors’ 'Plan A' is to package the Nos. 7 and 14 selections for a starting-caliber player in his prime."

what about this deal Oubre S&T + Wiseman + 7 + 14 for Towns + McDaniel

I'd do it. Wolves wouldn't.
