People act like the Suns weren't the hottest team to close out the regular season last year.

Remember they didn't lose a single game in the bubble.

yes, CP3 really is a big part of this season success, but Monte has been working for the past 2 years with the suns, its been an ongoing process, well deserved, lets wait and see if the media award will be of the same opinion...

They were beating teams they shouldn’t have beat all throughout last season, catching fire from time to time & going on good streaks. As shown by them getting hot at the end. They still fucking underachieved for 2 seasons straight with a solid roster until CP3 came a long & is helping orchestrate an offense & communicative team that is sitting at 2nd seed in the west, BIG difference in full season results.

Yes CP3 is better than Rubio, also Bridges(was coming off the bench last season) is better than Oubre, and Ayton was suspended for a lot of games last season. The team as a whole got better, it wasnt just CP3, although yes he is a big part. Last not forget that him and Monty had already worked together in NO, the confidence they both have in each other was already there when CP3 went to Phoenix.

All great points! Love Bridges tbh. I just like the feel of this team period.

If they keep it up I think it’ll be a very tough Lakers in 6.

CP3 has been playing at an incredible level, 2 years left for the man?

Hard to tell, CP3 has a player option next year, he could go anywhere he wants, but I hope he stays. He has been playing very well considering his age I think he can still contribute for another couple of years at a reasonable level.

As for the play offs, the suns were out for 11 years...so I had reasonable expectations going into the season, but in the last part of the regular season I gotta say I had higher hopes, of maybe getting to the Conf Finals, only problem is now theyll most likely face the lakers, so yeah grind all season for second best record in the league, the reward: face the defending champs in the first round haha

Lakers are weak right now best chance to beat them while Lebron nursing his ankle.
