Yeah when 6% of the population (black males) commits over 50% of the violent crime, you're going to have higher incarceration rates.
Also, you have a MUCH higher chance of getting shot/killed by the police when you resist arrest, fight with the police, or reach for a weapon (whether it's your own or the cops weapon).
