There is so much going on In the world , surely that has an impact . Along a lot of people using streaming platforms as a source of entertainment (instead of cable ) may limit people to what sports they are able to watch . I doubt these are the main reasons but Still should be factored

Sports that had little involvement in the kneeling, etc. Are still seeing major dips in ratings as well.

Many other factors are to blame. The fact that so many leagues are playing at the same time this past year has a lot to do with it too.

That makes sense. There is a lot of events going on all at once. I’m sure Hockey’s rating are going to be terrible this year too.
