Does the GOAT lose 9 first round, ECF Semi-Finals or ECF's? Asking for a friend.

Jordan couldn't even make it out of his own conference 60% of the time in his career. In a weaker league where he never beat a great team to win it all.

Nostalgia is something else, isn't it?

& Lebron lost the finals 66% of the time. It’s not nostalgia, it’s statistics. You’re romanticizing the here & now while simultaneously dismissing Jordan’s statistically better career.

Jordan had easier competition in the Finals for sure, his career peaked at the right time when the super teams were done. Imagine if Jordan had to go against Larry Bird's Celtics or Magic Johnson's Lakers in their prime years? He would have never had a threepeat, let alone two of them rofl.

Jordan went off when the league was in an expansion era and the talent level was watered down as a result, combined with the great teams being past their prime and falling apart.

All nine of LeBron's Finals opponents prior to this year rank among the top 35 teams ever to reach the NBA Finals. That Spurs team (which grades out as the worst of the nine that James played against) ranks higher than four of the six teams the Bulls beat, including all three from the first three-peat.

Fact is, Jordan dominated at the perfect time when the league was relatively weak and never defeated a truly great opponent in the Finals like LeBron has (i.e. the Spurs or the 73 win Warriors).
