The Rules are as follows:

Spots available: 6





200fg buy in.
Each round is single elimination.
Each party gets to make 1 official pick per day
Must be NBA game, Your team must cover the spread.
the round is scored when 1 contestant gets the correct choice and the opponent does not.
If both players get it wrong or get it right, the round continues to the next day, with neither contestant being awarded a point.
A round ends when all matchups have been decided.
A new round will begin with 1 day rest after each match has been finalized from previous round.

Conditions for ATS decision:
Each contestant much choose a game from opposing conferences.
If each party cannot mutually determine which conference to choose, Rock Paper Scissors best two out
of three; winner determines choice.
Constestants must choose from the same conference for an entire round.
All decisions must be posted before tip off of the game(s) chosen.


Round of 8:
first to 1.
If a round lasts more than 3 days, on the third day the team chosen with the highest shooting percentage advances. RPS 2/3 breaks near impossible ties beyond that.

SemiFinals:
In the second round, It will be a first to 2 wins scenario, all other rules apply.
the round may last up to 5 days.


Championship Round:
In the final round, It will be a first to 3 wins scenario with up to two picks each day.
A loss counts as negative 1 point for the purpose of scoring. a contestant cannot go below zero points AFTER DAY 1.
In the event both contestants hit +3 on the same game day. The teams chosen combined shooting percentage determines the tie break.**
After each successive week for the finals. each players new minimum points is increased by +1.
By the third week, there is only 1 decision to be made, therefore only 1 pick can be made.
There is no restriction on conferences in this round.

Placing your decision:
a Basketball day officially begins at 4:00am EST. a Decision must be placed for the day or automatic disqualification of the party takes immediate effect.
During the same day period the decision must be posted in the thread in the following format:

Winnings:
Tournament winner will win 78% of total prize pool
second place will win 18% of total prize pool
Med payment: 2%
Organizer payment: 2%

Team entries:
Contestants may enter with a party of 1 or more people to make a decision (i.e pool fg) and winning will be distributed as such to each contestant representing 1 team.
If a contestant consists of a team, the team name and single/backup representative must be declared as treasurer for the transaction.
We are not responsible for any winnings beyond the treasurer.
Only 1 team member, the treasurer, UNLESS SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED ON A PER DAY BASIS via PM from treasurer. May place a decision for their team that day.
Teams MUST enter with a team name. Get creative.
ATS Conditions:
All odds used will be from Westgate superbook closing odds same as Bookie man.
Ties are considered a push. neither contestant is awarded a point.
Teams must provide an avatar to be used, if none provided then the contestant/treasurers avatar will be used.

Clarification ties:

A Tie of your spread will be considered a win if your opponent does not cover the spread,

A Tie of your spread will be considered a loss if your opponent does cover the spread,

A Tie of both contestants spreads will be a push (0 points) and each team treasurer is awarded 25FG. The 25fg 'double double bonus' does not count in the event both contestants pick the same winner for the same event.
