Someone explain to me how what Heat just did isn't the saddest thing ever seen.
You go into the 4th Q against the shit Wizards up 16. You continue to forcefeed Bam.
The lead balloons to 20, 25, almost 30. It's midway through the 4th. You lead by 27.
Your star player has played 37 minutes. Do you pull him? No. Continue.
Sportsmanship? It's dead. The guy missed like 6 threes in the 4th.
Could he have scored 100? Of course, but this way? This was the saddest way.
I remember Devin Booker trying his hardest to score 70 way back in a big loss and we all thought it was a disgrace.
This? Holy fuck. This will be talked about a long time.
We've seen Spoelstra be a great coach for almost two decades, and he of all coaches do this? Loss of words.
What really is crazy is how not a single Wizards player thought "this guy is making a mockery of us" and took him out.

I agree, atleast with Kobe's he was playing against a Bosh Raptors and it was a close game going into the 4th (with the Lakers having to come back in the 3rd to take the lead).

Imagine if Kerr had left Curry or Thompson in some of those games where they were hot.

So what exactly is clutch? Is it going for 81 points while coming back from an 18 point deficit in the third quarter? Or is it scoring 62 points in three quarters, outscoring the opponents all by yourself? Or is it hitting a gamewinning 3 over one of the league's best players as time runs out?

My quote sums it up perfectly. Being down 18, having to fight your way back to a victory. Could Kobe have been subbed 1-2 minutes earlier? Yeah. No question. Lakers won like 122-107 or something despite being down 18 in the third.
Could they have subbed Bam out after the third while up 16? Yes. It's the Wizards. This is such a fucking hillariously pathetic thing by the Heat.

I hope 100 players score more than Kobe in a game, I couldn't give two shits about what name is first, second, third, whatever.
But even you, our beloved dm clown of this subforum, how do you defend keeping your guy in entire fourth quarter (he was subbed last minute), telling him to take every single shot, fouling the enemy team jsut to get the ball back

all of this

while

leading

by

20-30 points the entire 4th quarter

against

non other

than the mighty

fucking wizards who are playing a g league caliber starting lineup

Remember the career of derrick rose? remember how it ended? in the 4th quarter, leading by like 10 points with a minute to go
why? because he was still in the game
why? he needed one more rebound and assist for his triple double
