Doc is an absolutely terrible coach, but it’s hard not to blame Giannis for the Bucks downfall. Yeah, the Bucks would be completely irrelevant without Giannis, but he also allowed emotion to get in the way of being successful. Griffin had things going nicely, Giannis couldn’t handle the fact that Griffin could see Thanasis was not an NBA player and took it personally having him fired. Celebrated like a clown the day after.
Giannis has atill has not developed any of the weaknesses in his game, in fact he’s shooting jump shots, FT’s, 3p’s etc now worse than he ever has. I’m not sure where he will be traded to, but he might want to lose the self obsessed attitude and just focus on improving his own game if he wants to be a winner again
Lillard is at least giving all his energy (on one end of the floor) but he’s just not as good as he used to be. Tbh, he was never as good as people thought he was anyway. Always been a little overrated. But I don’t think he can be blamed too much here. But clearly not a good fit next to Giannis. They hardly play for each other (do they ever run a pick and roll?) Giannis needs good defensive guards, not a turnstile defender like Lillard
