"If I had to guess, I would probably never play back-to-backs the rest of my career," Embiid said, per ESPN's Tim Bontemps.

in other words, Embiid is done earning any awards that require game minimums

I don't think they have the depth to load manage both Embiid and PG, so they'll fall in the 5-7 seeding again

Embiid has played a total of TWO games in Denver in his career

Embiid has played a total of THREE games in Utah in his career

has there ever been a player to dodge games at altitude so much?

This is the deepest team they've ever had in the Embiid era and they have the best backup center in the league lol.

If there's ever a time to handle him being out, it's this roster.

uh some of the so called depth for the 76ers are really old ie Jackson, Lowry, Gordon

I see 3 legit role players for the 76ers in Council, Martin, and Oubre

Drummond is talented but also known to be toxic, and lets not forget that Al Horford looked like a scrub in Philly then magically went back to being a beast off the bench once he left

You seem to forget Drummond played in Philly just two years ago and was a beast. They only traded him in the package to get Harden. Immediate regret letting him go though, because the backup C position has been garbage ever since.

Drummond answers the backup C position. He gives them an elite rebounder, something they desperately need and miss since losing game. They also have better guard depth than they've had.
Maxey/Oubre/Lowry/Gordon/Jackson/McCain gives them a lot of options. I think McCain will be an absolute stud eventually.

Plus the addition of Guerschon Yabusele gives them another physical option up front.

Anyways, not so much worried about seeding come playoff time as we are health. If they have to sacrifice a top seed to give a better chance of being healthy in the playoffs then I'm for it...
