Working with your father/son/family/close friends in a competitive environment is never a good idea. Things will get tough, blames and arguments will occur. I can see this thing go wrong real quick. Imagine Lebron uses Bronny as a scapegoat?

I feel like it’ll be more of a case that LeBron can see no wrong in his kid. JJ and the rest of the coaching staff will probably give reasonable and warranted constructive criticism, and lack of playing time and I can foresee that LeBron will take offense to this.

This has been happening for decades. Every year, every draft. Its standard really. Curry, Kobe, Haliburton, Giannis, soooo many other big names too many to list all tried (or did) to control their own destination the same way. Hell, the #2 pick in THIS draft, Sarr, literally told the Hawks not to draft him #1 but you don't hear anyone crying about that.

People only care because it's connected to LeBron James. It's not like anyone else would have drafted him anyway once they found out LeBron wasn't leaving LA. Bronny wasn't getting drafted if his last name wasn't James.
