Is Trae Young rightly rated or underrated? Would you pick him for team fit over someone like Jaylen Brown? (Don’t think the Celtics would prefer Young next to Tatum, but maybe another team like Denver would love Young next to Jokic)

Haliburton and Brunson were picked for team USA because they can defend and operate off ball. Traes weaknesses: can’t stay in front of anyone defensively, doesn’t try off ball, and bad intangibles (his attitude has been shit in Atlanta)

Is Trae good enough to be All-NBA 3rd team? Or is he just good enough to get some All-Star selections here and there? Is Murray a better player than him?

Underrated imo. Probably has the best vision in the NBA(with Tyrese) but his size scares away a lot of people

Would really to see him play with better options than John Collins or Murray. Maybe taking some of that load off him could help with efficiency and even some hustle on defense

Young is pretty small for the international game and the United States have enough firepower, so going with the bigger Haliburton is the right choice imo

I'm not a huge fan of small players but I would take Young in a heartbeat. Every team should want a PG that can shoot and create like Young in today's NBA...just need a proper team around him. Young was close to a finals just a couple of years ago....who knows if they had stayed healthy.

Yeah at this point he’s underrated. People act like he’s absolutely trash. Clearly a very very good player, just has some major deficiencies that’s all.

First of all OBVIOUSLY Murray is a better player, especially since you opened the door to intangibles

second of all Trae is really fucking good at Basketball, he just sucks on defense.

Is he an Allstar? Yes. Is he all NBA 3rd worthy? Yes.

DOES that mean he will win it? No.

Trae needs to be a ball hog almost as bad as Kobe to put up the gud gud numbers, thats his real problem.
